As Occupational Safety and Health Act was partially revised (Act No. 18180, pronounced on May 18, 2021, effective on November 19, 2021), this is intended to supplement insufficiencies found in the system and operation by revising delegated regulations amended to upgrade the regulations on the exclusive work of safety and health managers to acts, deciding legally delegated matters and the matters needed for their enforcement by such methods as establishing detailed standard on payment restriction to meet expanded payment restriction to unlawful allowance receivers, resolving fairness issues among agencies and releasing territorial restriction for substantial work of professional academies to prevent construction disasters, and preventing infectious diseases and prevention of suicide to meet the necessity for management of occupational mental diseases manifested as social and economic factors amid the prolonged COVID-19.
