(GWANGJU=NEWSIS) Gwangju City launched a council on February 24 to support young entrepreneurs in Gwangju.

The council is comprised relevant institutions, universities and research institutions including the Gwangju Technopark and Gwangju creative economy innovation center. It will build a network to expand the opportunities for the regional young entrepreneurs and enhance the capabilities to support startups.

To become a city of startups, Gwangju will establish a support center for the young entrepreneurs at the Gwangju Knowledge Industry Center in the coming July to provide a one-stop support for the young wishing to start their own companies.
