Gwangju City Signs KRW 87.2 Bn Investment Agreements with 12 Companies

(GWANGJU=NEWSIS) Gwangju City signed KRW 87.2 billion investment agreements with 12 companies on March 29 at the City Hall.

The companies including Howon Co., Ltd. and Winia Global Tech Co., Ltd will invest a total of KRW 87.2 billion in sectors including automobile, home appliance, molding and machinery, energy, healthcare and cultural contents and create 364 new jobs.

It is noteworthy that more companies are steadily increasing their investment and interest in new industries including energy, healthcare and culture.

"We will spare no effort in supporting the companies to successfully expand their businesses in Gwangju. We will also work closely with 18 research support institutions in the research and development special district to provide more support for the companies," said Gwangju City Mayor Yoon Jang-hyun.
