According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) The Gwangju Main Customs announced that it sent 'YES FTA Center on Wheels', a bus being used as a mobile consultation center, to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) last month.

The customs office visited 58 SMEs in 10 industrial complexes in Gwangju, North and South Jeolla, Daejeon, and South Chungcheong to have personalized one-on-one consultations on issues dealing with FTAs, including issuance of certificate of origin, verification of origin, and customs clearance.

"We export our products mainly to Europe and did't think FTAs can benefit our business, but learned today that we can take advantage of FTAs in exporting our products through designation of a certified exporter by customs," said an employee of a company in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province.

"We hope SMEs struggling with protracted recession to strengthen their competitive edge in export markets by fully utilizing FTAs and take advantageous positions in the global market," said Seo Jung-il, head of the Gwangju Main Customs.
