According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) Gwangju City was selected as the best local governments in the civil administrative service evaluation conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and the Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission.

The evaluation was made on 77 organizations, including central government agencies and local governments nationwide.

Gwangju Metropolitan Government was recognized for its achievement made through implementation of its strategies under the goal of 'civil administrative service for citizens' happiness.'

"We will continue to develop civil service which can satisfy local residents through cooperation and communication with citizens," a city official said.
