According to Yonhap News,
(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) A housing complex for young entrepreneurs will be built in the Gwangju High-Tech Industrial Complex District.
The project, first introduced in Pankyo, Gyeongi Province last year, was launched to provide stable housing and offer spaces to
young entrepreneurs looking to start their own businesses.
Each unit is built with office spaces for telecommuting, and community spaces will be provided to encourage tenants to interact
with each other and share their business ideas.
Lower floors of the building will house facilities needed to start businesses such as meeting rooms, entrepreneurial cafes, and
showrooms.
The housing complex was selected as a public project by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Gwangju City will
build and operate the building while the Land Ministry will fund the construction project. Overall construction work will be managed by the Korea
Land and Housing Corporation.
Each unit will be 21~39 square meters in size. Construction is scheduled to start this year for completion in 2019.
