GWANGJU < invest Korea

According to Newsis News,

(GWANGJU=Newsis News) The City of Gwangju revealed Mar. 7 that it has signed investment agreements with 12 companies, including from Japan and the U.S., worth KRW 86.1 billion in total.

By industry, KRW 31.8 billion will be invested in the auto industry by 3 companies (including Korea Commercial Truck Co., Ltd), KRW 21 billion in logistics by 2 companies (including Nexen L&C), KRW 15.3 billion in the energy industry by 5 companies (including ST Energy), KRW 15.3 billion in home appliances by Kwangwon ENG, and KRW 5 billion in semiconductors by Dong Ha Corporation.

Gwangju Mayor Yoon Jang-hyun noted, "the city will expand its support for companies that invest in Gwangu, and work with the 18 business support organizations in special R&D zones, so that the investments lead to tangible results."
