(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) Gwangju announced that Vice President Krishna Prasad Adhikari of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) and 10 other Nepalese business persons arrived at the city on April 20 for a two-day visit.

The Nepali business delegation is scheduled to tour the city's main industrial facilities, and engage in in-depth discussions on how to foster economic exchange and cooperation.

Gwangju Mayor Yoon Jang-hyeon had invited the entrepreneurs last February, when he was visiting Nepal to participate in the opening ceremony of the Gwangju Health Clinic.

The delegation had previously expressed their intent to set Gwangju as a key hub for economic cooperation between Nepali business with great potential and promise and Korea.
