(GWANGJU=Newsis News) The city of Gwangju announced that the 2017 World Youth Festival, held at the 5.18 Democracy Square and National Asia Culture Center (ACC) under the theme 'Youth Do IT!', came to a successful end on August 6.

The three-day festival was composed of 14 programs grouped under the four categories of Youth Imagine, Youth Challenge, Youth Act, and Youth Well Done.

Some 200 youths from 16 countries, including the United Kingdom, France and Afghanistan, participated in the events, as well as representatives from nine youth consultative groups based in Korea.
