According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) The annual Solar, Wind & Earth Energy Trade Fair (SWEET 2018) will be held from March 14 to 16 at the Kim Dae Jung Convention Center in Gwangju.

Held every year since 2006, the event is co-hosted ny Gwangju Metropolitan City and South Jeolla Province, and organized by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), the Korea Energy Agency, and the Kim Dae Jung Convention Center.

This year, some 200 companies, including Germany's KACO New Energy and Baier Koppel, as well as Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), which has completed its relocation to the Bitgaram Innovation City in Gwangu, will be participating in SWEET 2018, which will be the largest and most advanced fair to date.

Previously, 182 companies participated in 2016, 180 in 2017.

At the fair, outstanding companies will showcase their new technologies and products in energy-efficiency fields such as solar, wind, bio energy, energy strorage and smart grids.
