According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) Gwanju Metropolitan City and South Jeolla Province's balance of trade for January 2018 was a 2.5% increase from the same month last year.

According to the Gwangju Customs Office Headquarters on February 27, Gwanju and Jeonnam collectively exported a total of USD 4.593 billion in January, up 18 percent from the same period a year ago.

Imports reached USD 3.421 billion, amounting to a 24.4 percent increase from January 2017.

As such, the trade of balance for Gwanju Metropolitan City and South Jeolla Province was USD 1.172 billion.
