(SEJONG=Yonhap News) On April 26, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance held the third "On-site Financial Consulting" at Gwangju City Hall.
About 200 people attended the event, including the heads of the local autonomous bodies in Gwangju, Jeonnam and Jeonbuk provinces, as well as financial affairs officials.
This consultation will aim to solve the local governing bodies' financial and operational difficulties through effective communication with the central government and to form a consensus on financial issues.
Gwangju citizens also attended to discuss local issues such as youth employment.
The ministry will finish the on-site consultations next month and resume again in the second half of the year in 17 different cities and provinces.
