(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) Gwangju City and agencies related to regional economy will work together to create decent jobs in order to create future growth engine in Gwangju.

The Employment Strategy Development Forum was held on August 28 at Kim Daejung Convention Center under the theme of "Strategy to Create Sustainable Jobs through Future Growth Engine of Gwangju."

The event was attended by participants from organizations such as Gwangju City, Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Gwangju Council for Sustainable Development.

At the event, the city and regional institutions presented a job creation model and agreed to implement strategies to respond to the changing era.

In particular, the city presented strategies including the shifting the value of administration system toward job creation and job creation by linking with industries.
