Gwangju city had trade fairs in India achieving USD 41.3M export agreements

According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) Gwangju city announced on April 1 that its trade delegation opened trade fairs attended by 10 regional SMEs in New Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata in India on March 23-31.

It achieved eight MOUs worth USD 41.3 million.

During trade faris, the delegation discussed export agreements with local buyers and companies, and also promised to visit local Indian companies or invite them to Korea.

HDT, a manufacturer of dental x-Ray, signed USD 3.2 million MOU with Trident mart, an Indian medical device trader.

TATA, India's largest automotive company, showed interest in auto part molding of Woosung Precision, and gas spring of Powertech.

Gwangju city is to develop overseas markets by dispatching trade delegations to 17 cities over 12 countries such as Japan, China, East Asian countries, Europe, and Central and Southern America.
