Gwangju signed exports agreements worth USD 1.58 mn in Japan

According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) Gwangju city signed MOU worth USD 1.58 million in business partnering sessions recently held in Japan.

On April 22, Gwangju city announced that it dispatched Trade Delegation during April 15-19 and had comprehensive business partnering session with local buyers.

108 partnering sessions worth USD 11.21 million took place, resulting in 13 MOUs on exports worth USD 1.58 million.

Ten companies including MeccaLine, selected through prior market research and on-site inspection, took part in business partnering sessions held in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.

They succeeded in inducing interest from Japanese buyers by introducing quality, utility, and cost competitiveness of their products, and had discussion on sampling sales and contract details.

A Gwangju city official said, "We plan to proceed various programs to support exports to put regional SMEs at the helm of economic vitality," adding that "we will implement effective support policies such as inviting foreign buyers to lead to export contracts."
