Three National Museums signed MOU on cooperation in the maritime culture

According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) Korea National Maritime Museum, Gwangju National Museum, and Jeju Museum join hands in publicizing maritime culture.

According to Gwangju National Museum on May 13, the three museums recently signed MOU on building a cooperation network on the maritime field.

Korea National Maritime Museum, opened in 2012, has taken root as a mecca of national maritime culture.

National Museum of Korea transferred 17,000 pieces of Sinan underwater treasures to Gwangju Museum. Jeju Museum plans to expand the scope of its exhibition ranging from the history of Jeju to the oceans and world island cultures.

The three museums agreed to closely cooperate and conduct joint projects in exchange of maritime culture and life history.
