According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) On July 1, Gwangju-city announced that its trade delegation held business partnering sessions in Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) on June 23-29, resulting in USD 600,000 export contracts.

It also achieved USD 18.64 million export consultation, and signed MOU on exports of USD 6.17 million.

Ten local SMEs including Newserim Tech, Dpls, OZ Healthcare, and others participated in trade delegation.

One-on-one local buyer matching sessions held in Ho Chi Minh , Vietnam's largest consumer market, and Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. In Singapore, they visited local companies to have in-depth consultation on exports.

By analyzing purchasing trends by export item in local markets, and responding accordingly, the delegation was well received by Southeast Asian buyers.

OZ Healthcare, producing cosmetics from natural ingredients, signed MOU on exports of USD 3.83 million, and export contracts of USD 100,000.

OZ Healthcare confirmed demand for and potential of cosmetics in Southeast Asian market, and plans to set up a branch in Singapore.

The city is scheduled to dispatch the delegation to Middle East (Turkey, UAE) in September, China in October, and South America (Colombia, Mexico) in November.
