KTO runs Gwangju culture & tourism program September 12-29

According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) On September 6, Gwangju Jeonnam branch of Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) announced that it runs a program adopting Gwangju's culture and art tourism resources during the weeks of Autumn Travel, from September 12 to 29.

Programs include "A tour wih artists" which give a chance to tour the region's exemplary cultural spaces including Asia Culture Center, National Museum of Gwangju, Gwangju Biennale, Yanglim-dong, and "Art Stay in" that connects accommodations with various art experiences and spaces.

There will be mini concerts, art salon party, and themed city tour bus programs, among others.

A city official said, "It will not only stimulate tourism in Gwangju but also contribute to creation of jobs in tourism sector, such as culture planner," adding that "We hope it becomes an opportunity for Gwangju's art programs continue to grow."
