(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) 2019 Asia Content & Entertainment Fair in Gwangju will be held on September 26-29.

It is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea, Ministry of Science and ICT, and Gwangju Metropolitan City, and managed by Kimdaejung Convention Center, KOTRA, among others.

Gwangju ACE Fair is Korea's largest fair exhibiting various media and cultural contents including broadcast, audiovisual, game, animation, character, AR, VR, and ICT, to seek the opportunities for business partnering, exports, and investment cooperation.

This exhibition will be participated by 410 companies from 31 countries, in 660 stands.

Exhibition, licensing consultation meetings, academic events and other events are prepared.

In particular, various items adopting VR, AR, newest contents and new technologies will be on display, giving visitors a chance to have hands-on experience of high-tech contents.

Major broadcasting companies such as MBC +Media, SBS Medianet, EBS Media, CJ E&M, and cultural content companies such as character and animation producers from Korea will participate in large numbers.

Also, 175 foreign buyers from Asian countries including China, the Philippines, and Malaysia, and Latin American countries including Ecuador and Brazil are to take part to have business partnering meetings and investment agreements.

On the sideline, 2019 ACE Job Fair will be held during the same period to provide consulting services for job-seekers and pre entrepreneurs and stimulate business exchanges between domestic contents companies.
