According to Yonhap News,

2019 Gwangju Medi-Health Industry Fair, an exhibition where entrepreneurs can take a look at the current and future trend in medical / cosmetic industry was held at the Kim Daejung Convention Center from Nov. 22 for three days.

The city of Gwangju said the fair, held under the title of ’Senior & Medical Industry Fair’ since 2005, was renamed Gwangju Medi-Health Industry Fair starting from this year.

Businesses that contribute to growth in local community such as bioengineering materials, photomedicine, national dementia research team in Chosun Univ., the largest Alzheimer’ disease big data center in Asia, Korea and Medical Micro-robot center displayed the cutting edge technology at the showcase.

360 exhibition stands and booths from 143 businesses producing healthcare, beauty and senior products, thought to be high value added businesses, were put up at the convention hall. Gwangju Medical Service Pavilion that accommodates local businesses and institutions were also prepared.

Trade fair inviting 45 buyers from 13 countries were open, along with a series of workshops and seminars prepared on site.
