KOTRA &Gwangju city joined activities to promote R&D investment in future vehicles and renewables

Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) cohosted a large scale promotional event, entitled 'Innovation R&D Investment Seminar', in which guests invited there were given a glimpse into new technologies: mobility / future automotive industry & renewable energy, with the city of Gwangju on Nov. 27 in Paris to attract R&D investment in future innovation.

Both parties reaffirmed favorable environment for research work in Korea, coming up with a blueprint for collaborative research projects tied up with French enterprises.

In the middle of the session, Dr. Lee Hang-gu at Korea Institute for Industrial Economics & Trade (KIET) gave details of Korea's future automotive industry trend and its R&D projects to the invitees.

Gwangju Greencar appeared on stage to deliver a presentation that shows industrial trends, analysis and a couple of projects to be pushed ahead. Gwangju city and its local business delegation appealed to French entrepreneurs to partner with them.

KOTRA said "Teaming up with local authorities, we'll constantly help businesses in Korea be well funded, especially in the fields in high demand for global partnership."
