GWANGJU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

The city of Gwangju announced on Apr. 13 that the local authorities unveiled the official names of roads, which stretch across two more regions inside the Bitgreen National Industrial Complex where a new model for win-win employment named “Gwangju model” that aims to boost local job creation by solidifying partnership between labor and management will be pushed ahead.

 The public administration ministry proclaimed the official use of the road names after deliberation by a special committee, which consists of panels from the ministry, Gwangju city and South Joella Province. Members reached a consensus to call the roads ‘Bitgreen’, that overlaps across Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju city and Hampyeong-gun, S.Joella Province. The east part is named East Bitgreen Rd, whereas the west part is called West Bitgreen Rd.

Bitgreen industrial complex is part of national clusters, formed by Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH). The complex sprawls across a 4,070,000㎡ site, located between Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju city and Hampyeong-gun, S.Jeolla Province.

The construction project is due in 2023.
