GWANGJU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

The city of Gwanju announced the signing of an MOU on Feb 26 with an AI tech-developer, Megazone Cloud, the 81st investor who pledged funding for the commitment to the formation of AI hub IN Gwangju city.

By incorporating separate business entity in the city, Megazone Cloud agreed to undertake HR training and development to pool a wealth of cloud and digital solution specialists.

The 81st investor has developed the industry-specific expertise in technology-support, being an Amazon’s AWS business partner and the very first cloud service provider in Korea, the city said. “Even in these tough times, the city’s AI hub project to form the largest tech-cluster is fully underway. We’ll make an all-out effort to develop the world’s best local AI ecosystem forward in Gwangju.” The city mayor said.
