According to Yonhap News,

Gwangju-si is speeding up the establishment of AI demonstration equipment in automobile, energy, and healthcare sectors, regional specialized industries.

Gwangju-si said on February 14 that it will introduce, as part of a project to establish AI centered industrial convergence cluster, equipment of 11 types for automobiles; 1 type for energy; and 2 types for healthcare.

In addition to 63 types established last year, the city will be equipped with total 77-types of demonstration equipment.

The AI specialized demonstration center, opened in December last year, has been providing demonstration support services necessary for data collection ·analyis · product development.

A healthcare demonstration center was established in Bitgoeul Senior Health Town, and used for physical examination, product test, etc.

This year, the world's class 'AI autonomous driving large-scale driving simulator' will be established, supporting the establishment of standards for autonomous driving vehicles and safety evaluation.

The city expects that 'AI public medical service' platform, began for the first time in Korea, would expand real-time provision of personal medical information and diagnosis support services.
