According to Yonhap News,

A 'Scientist's Path' was created in the Gwangju High-tech Science Industrial Complex, a cluster of research and educational institutions.

The Gwangju Science and Technology Promotion Agency held a celebratory ceremony for the completion of the Scientist's Path Sign on June 15.

An industry-university-research institute of scientists has formed a committee to create a walking trail and landmark where citizens can experience science in their daily life.

The first sign installed in the plaza in front of the Agency contains a portrait of Isaac Newton along with a walking trail course.

The trail course is a 7km-long passing through the Gwangju Institute of Science and Agency , Science Hall, Industrial Complex Corporation, Techno Park, Optical Technology Institute, the Agency, and Citizens' Forest.
