According to Yonhap News,

'Sweet (Solar, Wind & Earth Energy Trade Fair, SWEET) 2022', which showcases new and renewable energy technologies and products, will be held at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju on July 6-8.

According to the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center on June 23, the 16th SWEET is hosted by Gwangju City and organized by Kim Dae-jung Convention Center, KOTRA, and Korea Energy Agency (KEA).

About 250 companies from 30 countries will set up about 500 booths, suggesting the future energy ecosystem and development direction.

Companies such as Unison, BA Energy, and SCOTRA, leaders of the domestic industry, will participate and exhibit the latest technologies to realize carbon neutrality such as solar cells, modules, inverters, power generation systems, and energy security.

KEPCO and Busan Technopark will present the the Pavilion of Win-Win Growth and the Joint Pavilion with companies, respectively.

Six power generation companies, including Korea Southern Power, will sep up the Korea Power Industry Pavilion with about 60 SMEs related to solar power and hydrogen.

About 10 academic events such as the Global Solar Conference hosted by the Korea Photovoltaic Society, and the Win-win Growth Fair of the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership will also be held.
