According to Yonhap News,

The Gwangju Tourism Organization (GJTO) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Daegu Foundation for Culture & Arts (DGFCA) on May 3 to take on a leading role in revitalizing "Dalbit tourism."

The two organizations agreed to cooperate to boost tourism exchanges, revitalize leading local festivals and sports tourism, and jointly develop tourism products linked with the 2030 Moonlight Inland Railway.

Starting with a tourism event connected with sports of the two cities in July, they are planned to promote local festivals and restaurants.

GJTO's president said, "Gwangju and Daegu have cooperated in diverse areas with the formation of Dalbit Alliance, and became closer with the passage of Dalbit Railway Special Act in January," adding that "we will endeavor to create new values through tourism."
