Gwangju-si signed an MOU with Qroad (a company specializing in game quality management) and Gwangju Information and Content Agency (GICON), in Gwangju on July 22.

Seoul-based Qroad will establish its Gwangju branch at 245 Jeonil Building in Dong-gu, and hire more than 100 local talent by 2025, according to the MOU.

Gwangju-si will provide employment subsidies and education and training subsidies up to KRW 1 million per person for new hires exceeding 10employees over the next year.

With the operation of Korea's only hub city of Asian culture, an investment promotion zone, the city has attracted 20 cultural content companies in the recent three years.
