According to Yonhap News,

Gwangju Development Institute (Director Chae Il-byeong) and Gwangju Cultural Foundation (President Rho Seong-dae) signed an agreement for joint research and information exchange to develop the regional culture and art on April 20th.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate in joint research, project operation, academic material exchange, and facility usage in order to enhance the competitiveness of culture and art in the Gwangju region and create a creative cultural environment.

Gwangju Development Institute plans to lay out the vision and strategy for Gwangju culture through in-depth research, and Gwangju Cultural Foundation will build a cooperative network by devising new cultural and art policies and programs.
