According to Yonhap News,

Gwangju International Mold & Machinery Industry Fair was held for four days from June 20.

About 120 companies from 10 countries including the U.S., Japan and Germany operated 300 booths.

Major companies included SDM specializing in casting mold for automotive components, Woojin Flaimm, an injection molding manufacturer, Hwacheon Machinery, a metal working machinery manufacturer, and YG-1, the world's top five end mill manufacturer.

An export seminar was also held on the sidelines of the fair with 200 buyers attending.

Gwangju's molding industry has quadrupled from 250 billion won in 2004 to 989.5 billion won in 2011.

It aims at expanding the sales to 1.5 trillion won in 2015.
