According to Yonhap News,
Gwangju National University Hospital inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) today on joint research and development of new medicine and medical equipment with JW Holdings Corporation, a Korea-based holding company mainly engaged in subsidiary management and pharmaceutical distribution businesses.
About 30 people including director of Chonnam National University Hospital Song Eun-gyu and vice president of JW Holdings Lee Gyeong-ha attended the signing ceremony.
Under the MOU, both sides agreed to conduct various joint-projects to develop worldwide medicine and medical equipment.
"The MOU is expected to accelerate our efforts to develop global medicine, which will contribute a lot to the advancement of the domestic medical industry," said director Song.
