According to Yonhap News,
Gwangju established an additional 8 billion won-fund for the sophistication of corporate structure of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in a bid to support financially struggled SMEs.
For each selected company, 1 billion won will be spent in facility investment, 300 million won in stabilizing the management system and 2 billion won in building an apartment-type factory.
Any companies can apply for the fund by submitting an application form, a business plan, a business registration certificate, a plant registration certificate and 2-year financial statements to the Business Support Team of Gwangju Small & Medium Business Support Center.
"The fund will contribute to stabilizing the management and facilitating
the regional economy for SMEs in financial trouble," said a Gwangju City
official.
