South Jeolla Province announced that the Jeonnam Development Corp. and the Jeonam Cultural Industry Association (JCIA) signed a contract for 12 sites of 5,136 m2 in for an academy-industry-research cluster.

The 12 sites in the cluster are dedicated for information and communications industry.

JCIA will invest about KRW 10 billion in the site to build a center for immersive media industry.

Construction of the building will begin March of 2014 to be completed April 2015.

South Jeolla Province plans to attract investment and site sales November.
