ACE Fair 2013 to Be Held in Gwangju

The Asia Content & Entertainment Fair 2013 will be held in Gwangju from September 26 to September 29.

Celebrating its 8th anniversary this year, the fair is expected to draw 404 cultural content companies from 40 countries.

About 400 Korean and foreign buyers will participate to hold export consultation sessions and purchase various content products.

The United States’ Vinton Entertainment, which signed a letter of intent of USD 6 million with a Korean animation company, Hong Kong’s PROMO TV, which signed a USD 5 million-dollar memorandum of understanding, CCTV Animation Inc and a French game association will attend the fair.

In addition, it also expects to see 223 foreign buyers from the Marvel Entertainment, France’s Atlangames, the Walt Disney Company, and Yomzeo.

From Korea, representative cultural content companies, including KBS N, MBC+MEDIA, SBS Medianet, CJ E&M, Grafizix, and Maro Studio, will be participating in the fair.

For successful export consultations, Gwangju City will hold two business days and provide about 160 interpreters.

The fair will feature academic events, including a seminar on 3D industry’s overseas expansion, and various events.
