Exchanges between two cities’ city council in politics, economy, medical industry and more are expected as the agreement was signed Tuesday, following a friendly exchange agreement between Gwangju City and Luoyang City last year.

Luoyang City, located in the southern region of Henan Province, China, was the capital for nine dynasties.

It is also a city of traditional culture and advanced industries and has been holding exchange programs with Gwangju City actively, including participation in festivals and trainings.

Head of the Gwangju City Council noted that the exchanges will bring much economic and cultural values, adding that projects that will contribute to development of both cities will be identified in future discussions.
