In 2013, the district saw an increase of 16.79 percent in competitiveness compare to an year earlier, and was ranked top among 69 local governments nationwide.

In particular, the district posted strong growth in its populations, number of registered vehicles, total amount of local tax, performance in maternal and childhood health service projects and number of volunteers.

It also received high marks in development of culture and sport facilities, launch of educational institutions and school entrance rate.

“Based on the results of the evaluation, we will strengthen our strengths and make up for the weaknesses and build a city that everyone wishes to settle down,” said a district official.
