Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Small and Medium Business Administration Selects 39 Promising Exports for Diverse Support

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) On June 4, the Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch of the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA) announced its selection of 39 promising local export businesses (18 from Gwangju and 21 from Jeonnam) to which it will provide policy-based support.

The selected businesses will receive diverse forms of support and preferential treatment - including fund/export guarantee-related support, favorable interest rates, and overseas marketing support from 25 export supporting institutions such as the SMBA, SBC, K-SURE, Korea EXIM Bank, and KOTRA - for two years. Similarly favorable support was granted to 36 and 75 selected businesses in 2012 and 2013, respectively.
