It has been four years since Sungil Innotech (CEO Park Woo-Geun), the leading home appliance screen printing company, opened in Gwangju. The Company invested in Gwangju and grew strongly by the world for its technology in the screen printing area.

Sungil Innotech, built on the land of 14,286 m², became the leader in home appliance sector after concluding the agreement with Gwangju City on Oct. 22, 2009. Since its operation in 2010, the company strived to develop technology and promote the sales by unifying the workers based on a special vision for the future.

According to Sungil Innotech, Gwangju is actively fostering the "home appliance industry" as a key industry along with the optical industry, automobile industry, cultural contents industry and green energy industry. The City is also promoting the home robot fostering project with large home appliance enterprises such as Samsung Electronics, Dongbu-Daewoo Electronics, CLK Carrier and LG Innotek. The Home Robot Center, established in the Technopark, plans to promote the localization of cleaning robot components and the housework supporting robot development project. The company transferred to our City from Jeongeup, North Jeolla Province by the vision on the home appliance industry in Gwangju and by the City's active and constant passion and efforts to attract investment.

Gwangju has provided quick administrative services for early settlement and has supported actively in order to manage the initial capital smoothly.

With the administrative and financial support from the City, the Company installed the screen printing factory with 9 lines and 5 production lines of foam process, began production, achieved the sales of KRW 30.2 billion and created 200 new jobs including subcontractor's employees.

Sungil Innotech is a subcontracting firm of Samsung Electronics, which produces designed color glass panels for decorating refrigerator doors and white goods. The Company is supplying design-printed glasses to the large enterprises such as Samsung and Daewoo for their ashing machines, air cleaners and refrigerators.

In addition, Sungil Innotech strives to develop key technologies and enter overseas markets, such as Turkey. Sungil Innotech achieved the sales of KRW 30.2 billion in 2013 and the sales is expected to reach KRW 35 billion this year. The sales are growing continuously as planned to build a new factory during the second half of the year by developing additional business items. It is likely to achieve its goal of KRW 40 billion in 2015.
