According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) Those who visit Gwangju to attend international conferences or EXPOs will receive up to 20 percent discounts for KTX tickets.

KORAIL Gwangju branch announced on September 11 to offer up to 20 percent discounts for KTX tickets to local and foreign participants of MICE events held in Gwangju.

MICE is an acronym for Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions.

KORAIL Gwangju branch is currently providing discounted tickets to routes between Gwangju Songjeong Station and Seodaejeon Station, Yongsan Station and Gwangmyeong Station to those who attend the International Climate & Environment Fair 2014 (Sept. 12∼20) and the 2014 International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (Sept. 12~20).
