(GWANGJU=NEWSIS) A transfer letter of intent (LOI) was submitted to Gwangju City by 16 companies in the metropolitan areas.

Gwangju announced November 14 that it is the result of the city’s efforts to attract companies following the transfer of public institutions to the Bitgaram Innovation City in Gwangju.

The companies that are willing to transfer to Gwangju are in the industries including animation production, video production and contents and mobile game production.

The companies wrote the transfer LOL on November 13 at the presentation to attract companies in the ICT contents industry to promote the Bitgaram Innovation City where more than 120 business leaders related to the transfer of public institutions in the metropolitan areas have attended.

"The presentation provided an opportunity to draw the present and future of high-tech Gwangju," said a city official.
