(GWANGJU=NEWSIS) PGwangju announced December 17 that the Green Car Korea 2014 will be held at the Kimdaejung Convention Center for three days from December 18.

The Green Car Korea 2014, the largest expo for green cars in Korea, is hosted by Gwangju City and co-organized by the Kimdaejung Convention Center, GIGCA, Honam & Dongnam & Daegyeong IRPEs and KOTRA.

The participants of the Green Car Korea 2014 include 110 companies from six countries such as Germany, Sweden, China and Japan. The expo will showcase fully built cars including electric vehicles, clean diesel cars, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and two-wheeled vehicles and infra-service sector, such as automobile parts and accessories.

The Green Car Korea 2014 will introduce the excellence of green cars to participants and encourage technology exchange to promote export and grow the green car market. Gwangju and KOTRA will also hold one-to-one business meetings for participants.

Global automobile manufacturers and automotive parts suppliers including Ford Motor Company, Toyota, Delphi Automotive and Magna will participate in the Green Car Korea 2014 to provide proactive business consulting to show the new technology of eco-friendly and low-pollution cars and sell core automotive parts.

Other events include 2014 International Green Car and Smart Car Technology Forum, ICT Convergence E-mobility Knowledge Cluster Seminar, Electric Vehicle Leaders Forum and ISO26262, SQ Certification Seminar.
