The SWEET 2015 is co-hosted by Gwangju City and South Jeolla Province and co-organized by the Kimdaejung Convention Center, KOTRA, the Korea Wind Energy Industry Association and the Gwangju and Jeonnam office of the Korea Energy Management Corporation.

It will be the venue to showcase the excellent technology and recent information of the new and renewable energy including smart grid, solar energy, photovoltaics, wind power, bio, electricity that can substitute fossil fuel.

About 165 companies in 21 new and renewable energy leaders including the United States, France, the Netherlands, Japan, China and India will participate in the SWEET 2015.

Also, Gwangju has invited 85 buyers from 65 countries in 18 countries to provide opportunities for business exchanges between new and renewable companies and buyers.

"The SWEET 2015 will display new and renewable energy technologies that can be used in daily lives. We hope the fair will help participants to grow as global leaders through pioneering the overseas markets," said a city official.
