Gwangju Signed USD 22 Mn. of Investment & Export Agreements in Germany

(GWANGJU=NEWSIS) The Gwangju city announced March 15 that its investment delegation participated in the 2015 International Dental Show (IDS), the world’s largest dental show, in Cologne, Germany and signed USD 22 million worth of investment and export agreements with foreign companies.

The 36th IDS is a dental Olympics where more than 30,000 dental experts from 60 countries take part to read the current trends of the industry including gather together in the global dental industry including dental alloy, orthodontics and implant materials.

A total of 150 Korean dental companies participated in the show including 14 regional companies, such as KJ Meditech, Kuwo Tech and NCL Korea.

The 14 Gwangju companies installed a Gwangju booth for joint marketing through mutual cooperation.

Brain Base Corporation, a Japanese global dental implant manufacturer, signed a USD 5 million investment agreement with Brain Base Corporation Korea to build their dental equipment manufacturing plant in Gwangju.

Bizmax, a Mexican company, will invest USD 5 million in the establishment of a corporation in the first half of the year to supply their dental and medical equipment, materials and services.

Good Doctors, a Gwangju company, signed an export agreement with Germany’s Gruneworld to export USD 7 million worth of equipment for root canal treatment and photopolymerization. KJ Meditech reached an export agreement with Japan’s Kiko to export USD 5 million worth of dental implants.
