According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) Gwangju City announced June 25 that it will establish and operate the second Asian cultural industry investment association to secure financing to develop regional cultural industry and attract potential companies and projects.

A total of KRW 12 billion will be invested in the second Asian cultural industry investment association including KRW 3 billion of national expense, KRW 3 billion of city expenses and KRW 6 billion of private expenses.

More than 50 percent of the investment will be invested in the regional cultural companies and projects.

The first investment association (KRW 19 billion), which was established in September, 2012, has invested KRW 15.6 billion in the region.

The city will present about the second investment association at the Korea Creative Content Agency on July 1.
