Gwangju Invests KRW 300 Bn in Hanam Industrial Complex

According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) The Hanam Industrial Complex, an outdated one, will be reborn as an innovative industrial complex through an extensive support.

A total of KRW 299.4 billion will be invested in the complex under the support of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport and Ministry of Industry, Trade & Energy to carry out tailored renovation including refurbishing the outdated buildings and infrastructure and establishing support facilities.

Many efforts have been made for the complex to be selected as a competitiveness enhancement project including conducting fact-finding survey on the complex, reviewing the validity of the project’s structure advancement and operating a task force team to attract an innovative industrial complex.

The innovative industrial complex project will improve the weak infrastructure and expand spaces for incubation, education, culture and sports facility to create jobs and revitalize the regional economy.
