(GWANGJU=NEWSIS) Gwangju City announced September 16 that it signed KRW 11 billion investment and export agreements with Japanese companies on September 15 at the Peninsula Tokyo, Japan.
K-Tech Korea, Inc., a local company, and Japan’s KTech will invest KRW 6 billion in the establishment of a production line of a construction plant. K-Tech Korea will export its whole production to Japan and will create 20-30 new workers.
Kumho Tire Co., Inc., based in Gwangju, signed an agreement with Japan’s Technopia Co., Ltd. to export KRW 5 billion of automobile tires to Japan for the next five years.
The city has attracted investment and facilitated export through effective investment negotiations with the Japanese companies.
