According to Yonhap News,
(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Daegu City and the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) will run a shuttle service to attract Japanese tourists visiting Busan City.
More than 94% of individual Japanese tourists tend to visit only the Seoul Capital Area and major tourist attractions. Therefore, the KTO launched the shuttle service to encourage them to visit other cities as well.
The shuttle, which will run Tuesday through Friday until June, will start and return to Busan City after making stops at Daegu Dongseongno Street, Daegu Alleyway and Daegu Seomun Market.
Daegu City and the KTO will carry out proactive marketing activities to attract Japanese tourists during the Golden Week (Apr. 29 - May 8) in Japan.
