(DAEGU=NEWSIS) Daegju City announced April 23 that it will sign an investment agreement with Human Herb on April 25 to build a research center and manufacturing plant at the Daegu Innopolis.

Human Herb, a medical herbs supplier headquartered in Gyeongsan City, will invest KRW 8.1 billion in building a research center and manufacturing plant on 3,642㎡ of land at the Daegu Innopolis.

The company records more than KRW 10 billion of sales every year by supplying medical herbs to 3,570 oriental medical clinics.

“We expect the investment of Human Herb, the leading medical herbs supplier in Korea, to revive the regional economy and develop the oriental medicine industry. We will strive to attract more promising medical-related companies in the future,” said a city official.
