According to Yonhap News,
(SEOUL=Yonhap News) The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced that 158 export specialists from its 103 overseas offices will visit seven cities including Seoul, Jeonju, Gwangju, Daegu and Busan from May 16 for three days to conduct export consulting meetings with 378 regional small- and medium-sized companies (SMEs).
The export specialists will share their export experiences in foreign countries with the SMEs.
KOTRA has established the foreign localization project to help the SMEs enter the foreign markets by providing them with tailored support including conducting market analysis and finding local buyers.
A total of 2,818 SMEs have benefited from the foreign localization project in 2015.
"We hope more companies would make inroads into foreign markets by capitalizing on the foreign localization project. Meanwhile, we will provide more tailored export supports to the companies," said a KOTRA official.
