(SEOUL=Yonhap News) The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) held 'K-Style Fair 2016' on Jul 7 in Beijing, China.
Following last year's first event, 100 small and mid-sized firms are participating in this year's four-day exhibition to presents a wide variety of products including food, cosmetics, household items, cultural contents.
The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Daegu Metropolitan City, and North Gyeongsang Province opened a joint booth, and online shopping mall of the KITA exhibited cosmetics and baby products.
Korean broadcaster SBS set up a booth to promote its TV programs.
Korean food cooking classes and makeup and hair styling shows are arranged as well to promote Korean culture.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, 'Big buyer One-on-one Consultation' participated by 58 major distributor including China's top food distributor Vanguard and second largest e-commerce company Suning will be held for two days.
KITA expects the event helps further facilitate practical cooperation between two countries amid increased trade and mutual exchanges backed by the Korea-China FTA.
